Finding Your Voice Through Writing

For anyone who has experienced a hardship and would like to write about it.

When suffering a personal hardship associated with death, diagnosis of an illness, change in family dynamics, or any traumatic experience, expressing yourself via written words provides an opportunity for healing and personal growth. This seminar is perfect for anyone who has experienced a hardship and would like to write a journal, book, blog post, newsletter or article.

Authors Rachel Kodanaz and Michele Morris will share personal stories of why they were compelled to write about their experiences, emotions, and challenges, and the healing and growth they experienced through the process of writing.

About the Presenters:

Rachel Kodanaz, author of best-selling Living with Loss, One Day at a Time, found her voice in the years after the sudden death of her husband by writing about her learnings. Her book conveys 365 daily thoughts and ideas to support those who have experienced a loss.

 

Michele Morris, author of Poco a Poco: A Memoir, found her voice through
journaling after her husband collapsed from a massive brain hemorrhage while they were on vacation in Spain. Her memoir about her journey of grief, loss and recovery provides inspiration and hope for others facing tragedy.
